How can we stop a tsunami

The goal is to gather the best minds, programmers, techsavvys, geeks, engineers, mathematicians, geologists and expert to an event inspired by RHoK, Random Hack of Kindness. We will call it CHaT (Collaborated Hacks against Tsunamis)

The goal is to gather min. 1,000 people around the world in local teams, where we collaborate and work to generate ideas on how to predict, prevent and stop a tsunami. We work an entire weekend on prototyping the best ideas.

The event will be held in major cities around the world in corporation with NPO.

At this time the date will be 9-11 of march 2012.
